Patrice visited my school for the second time in three years (once with K-5th and the other K-1st). She is engaging and strives to bring the best out of our students. Students talk about her and want to check out her books in the media center and teachers purchase her autographed books for themselves and their classroom libraries. I am thankful to work with Patrice and appreciate how easy it is to work with her.

Patrice was fantastic with our 1st and 2nd Grade students! She came to visit us virtually on Zoom and to share her most recent book “I Am Because I Choose.” She was very responsive and engaging during our presentations. All of the teachers and students loved having her visit! Several parents even emailed to follow up based upon how excited their scholars were when sharing about the visit at home! We love the book and we had an amazing author visit with Patrice! She had such a positive energy. She did a great job of getting the kids excited, but was also able to bring them back to a place of calm so they could hear and enjoy the presentation. Her visit was so well tailored to the different grade levels that I was sad I didn’t get to have her visit with my older kids. I am sure it would have been just as amazing.
