Words cannot express how thankful I was to have Patrice come and speak with my students. She stayed all day with us at the school, delivering six sessions for grades K-5. Her enthusiasm never faltered. She is an inspiration to the students. She encouraged them to be scholars, work hard, pay attention to the teachers, believe in themselves, and dream. Her book is wonderful. It highlights African American Inventors and the importance of inventions to everyday life. I look forward to working with her again in the future.
