“Be the Change” Scholarship Recipient
MILESTONE ALERT! “Have You Thanked an Inventor Today?”, along with Digital Arts Publishing, LLC., are happy to announce this year’s recipient of our “Be the Change” book scholarship, Ms. Keisha Sanders! Keshia is a well rounded scholar who’s certainly destined for greatness. She attends George Westinghouse College Prep in Chicago, IL and boasts a 3.5 GPA! Her extra-curricular activities include ROTC and manager for the girl’s basketball team. She also understands the importance of community service, as she volunteers her time to help with special needs students. Though she is undecided about where she will attend college, she’s already been offered multiple academic scholarships and accepted to various colleges and universities. She plans to major in Business Marketing so that she can further her pursuits to entrepreneurship. Keshia is a shining example of that beautiful black girl magic that exists in our community though rarely highlighted. Please join us in congratulating Keshia Sanders on all of her awesome achievements and for being the recipient of our 2nd annual “Be the Change” Book Scholarship!
